LONDON | DROP WAIST MIDI DRESS red-cocktail-dress one shoulder against the collarbonePlenty of drop waist designs do ruffles badly. The London does them without shouting, placing the frills where they earn their place and leaving the rest of the shape entirely plain. The seam sits low, so the body reads long before anything starts moving. The two things to know: a lowered waistline that changes the whole proportion, and ruffle detail used sparingly. Make it the one they remember. It has the restraint to be worn more than once.
